Retraction

        Well, the title of this post would suggest that I have to withdraw a previous statement made on my blog.  Bluntly stated, I'm not getting married on September 17th, and I'm not moving to England to attend the University of Essex in the fall.  Talk about a curveball!  Shortly after getting engaged, I headed back to England to find a place to live and get to know the great little town of Colchester better.  It was an interesting trip to be sure, but the most interesting thing happened the night before flying home from London.  I checked my email at Penn's place around 10:30pm and about froze in my chair when I opened an email informing me that I was accepted at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland!!!!  AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!  SCOTLAND!!!!!!  I've seen a couple really cool places throughout my life, and Scotland definitely nears the top of my most beautiful places list.  So...I decided to accept Edinburgh over Essex.  Yes friends, I will be living in Scotland!

       As for getting married on September 17th - not possible.  After re-reading the email from Edinburgh, I realized that I have to be in Scotland for classes starting September 14th.  Which means...Steve and I will be getting married on September 3rd instead.  So there you have it - no more Essex and no more wedding on 9/17.  Instead - it's the University of Edinburgh for the two of us after getting married on September 3rd.  That's all.  =)
